The start time of work hours in official institutions in Jordan has been changed due to the Jordanian national football team's matches in the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "JordanNews" that according to the decision of the Prime Minister of Jordan, Jafar Hassan, on the days of the national team's matches, work in state institutions will start at 10:00 local time, not 08:00. The decision will be in effect on June 17, 23 and 28.
The main purpose of the decision is to create conditions for citizens to watch and support the national team's matches, which will be making its debut in the World Championship.
It should be noted that Jordan will face Austria, Algeria and the current world champion Argentina in Group J.
The Jordanian national team qualified for the tournament as the runner-up in the group after South Korea in the Asian qualifying round.
