Why didn't Adrian Mutu answer calls from Azerbaijan?
Before the "Qarabag" - FCSB match, which took place within the League stage of the UEFA Europa League, several Azerbaijani sports journalists approached Adrian Mutu, the former Romanian head coach of "Neftchi". Sport24.az reports that the expert stated this in his statement to the local "Fanatik" publication. Mutu said that media representatives wanted to get information about the opponent before the match, but he did not answer their calls: "Several publications called to get information about FCSB. I refused all of them. Because talking about FCSB is not my job. I couldn't give information about them to the foreign press." It should be noted that the match ended with the victory of the Romanian club - 3:2.
