"West Ham" will demand an explanation for the disallowed goal in their 0-1 defeat to "Arsenal" in the 36th round of the Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that in the 95th minute, "West Ham" managed to score against the "Gunners" after a corner. However, striker Pablo Felipe extended his arm, preventing goalkeeper David Raya from reaching the ball. The goalkeeper touched the ball with his glove but was unable to deflect or control it. The ball then hit William Saliba's knee and Callum Wilson, who sent the ball into the goal.
Referee Chris Kavanagh consulted with the video assistant referees, reviewed the replay, and decided not to award the goal due to a foul against the goalkeeper. "Arsenal" won the match.
According to the BBC, "West Ham" will contact PGMOL, which is responsible for refereeing in England, and demand an explanation for the referee's decision. The club will also request an audio recording of the conversation between Kavanagh and VAR official Darren England.
