AFFA does not plan to hold any of the Azerbaijan national team's home games in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup at the Ganja City Stadium.
Idman.biz reports that, according to information obtained by "Report", although there were earlier reports that the home match with France in Group D of the qualifying round would be held in Ganja, there was actually no basis for this.
Holding any of the national team's 3 home games at the Ganja City Stadium, which is currently under construction, has not been discussed.
However, it is not ruled out that in the future, Azerbaijan's national teams of lower age groups will hold training camps in Ganja.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will host Iceland on November 13 at the "Neftchi Arena", and Ukraine and France, respectively, on September 9 and November 16 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Group D.
