Valdas Dambrauskas, the head coach of "Sabah," which won 3-0 against "Shamakhi" in the 30th round of the Azerbaijan Premier League, participated in the post-match press conference.
Idman.Biz reports that the Lithuanian specialist stated that despite the difficulty of preparing the team for the game after the championship news, he was satisfied with the professionalism shown by his players. The head coach also added that "Shamakhi" is a good team and it was not easy to score three goals against them.
Dambrauskas noted that they have been undefeated for approximately nine months and that the Azerbaijani championship is strong, emphasizing the importance of surpassing a team like "Qarabag," which played in the Champions League play-offs.
Speaking about the upcoming cup final and the game against "Zira," the head coach stated that regardless of their position in the tournament table, everyone will go out and do their job. According to him, the cup final consists of one game, and the team will go out with the intention of making history.
The expert also highly appreciated the debut of young football player Jafar Mukhtarov. He stated that the young player's ball control and passing qualities are very suitable for the team's game system and that he deserved to have this chance.
