UEFA stadium inspector Scott Struthers, AFFA Infrastructure Department Director Fuad Jafarov, and Head of the Football Infrastructure Projects Department Sabir Ismayilov, together with representatives of the Turan Tovuz club, inspected the Tovuz city stadium. Sport24.az reports that during the inspection, which lasted more than 4 hours, important points related to bringing the stadium into compliance with UEFA's 2nd category requirements were discussed.
In the end, the requirements for the stadium to qualify for this category, as well as the tasks and recommendations to be fulfilled, were brought to the attention of the club representatives.
Later, at the meeting, a broad exchange of views was held on the work to be done to ensure that the stadium fully meets international standards. The reconstruction and improvement work carried out at the stadium was positively evaluated.
