The winners of the 2025/2026 season in the U-14 Girls League in football have been awarded.
Idman.Biz reports that the decisive matches were held at the stadium of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Sports Health Center.
First, a match for third place took place. In the bronze medal game, "Shafa" defeated "Ismayilli" with a score of 3:1 and finished the season in third place.
In the final match, "Sabah" and "Ulduz" teams faced each other. "Ulduz" became the champion of the U-14 Girls League, defeating its opponent with a score of 1:0. "Sabah" finished the season with a silver medal.
After the games, an awards ceremony was held. "Shafa" was awarded a bronze medal, "Sabah" a silver medal, and "Ulduz" a gold medal and a cup.
Winners have also been determined in individual nominations. "Ulduz" player Asmar Ismayilli was selected as the league's most productive player with 39 goals. "Sabah" member Elina Kotikova was awarded the title of the best player of the season.
The awards were presented by AFFA Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov, Head of the Women's Football Department Zumrud Agayeva, Technical Director Emrah Aykurt, and Azerbaijani national team football player Alina Nahmadova.
