Two footballers playing in the Azerbaijani Premier League will participate in the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that "Sabah" midfielder Umarali Rakhmonaliyev will go to the World Cup as part of the Uzbekistan national team, and "Turan Tovuz" defender Roderick Miller as part of the Panama national team.
Based on the current situation, they are the only representatives from the Azerbaijani Premier League in the tournament.
It should be noted that the 2026 World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
