"You removed Renat Dadashov from the squad, at least don't let the club relegate to a lower league." Turkish journalist Metiner Erdem criticized the "Ankaragücü" club, where Azerbaijani national team football player Renat Dadashov plays. Sport24.az reports that he touched upon the performance of the capital representative in the last rounds in an article in the "24saatgazetesi" newspaper.
Metiner Erdem touched upon Dadashov's removal from the squad:
"Even though you have players in the midfield and attack, you are still looking for players for these positions. And you leave the central defender issue for the last day. Should it be like this? You removed Renat Dadashov from the squad, Riad Bajic himself left the team. "Ankaragücü" is heading towards the TFF 2nd League swamp. It's really a shame. I say and emphasize for the last time. There are no expectations from this management, technical staff, football players, fan groups anymore. At least don't let the club relegate to a lower league."
