The youngest and oldest goalscorers in the Azerbaijan Cup

The youngest and oldest goalscorers in the current Azerbaijan Cup season have been determined. Sport24.az conducted research on this matter.

Tural Narimanov from "Shafa" leads the list of the oldest players. He distinguished himself in the match against "Difai" which they lost in extra time (2:3). The defender managed to do this at the age of 35 years and 3 days.

Cavid Imamverdiyev from "Hypers Guba" (34 years, 9 months, 5 days) is in second place. He achieved this in the match they won against "Goygol" (3:2). Firuddin Agalarov from "Qusar" closes the "Top Three". The winger, who distinguished himself in the match they lost to "Shimal" with a score of 1:4, wrote his name on the scoreboard at the age of 33 years, 10 months, and 28 days.

Among the youth, those who distinguished themselves are members of the Premier League representatives. Murad Mammadov from "Neftchi" scored in the match against "Difai" (6:0) at the age of 18 years, 7 months, and 8 days, Farid Shahhuseyni from "Sabail" scored in the match against "Dinamo" (6:0) at the age of 18 years, 7 months, and 24 days, and Fakhri Mammadli from "Shamakhi" scored in the duel with "Shamkir" (6:1) at the age of 18 years, 10 months, and 27 days.

It should be noted that "Qarabag" and "Sabah" teams will face each other in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup. The decisive match will take place on May 31.
