Lent.az reports that according to the version of "The Independent" publication, the legend of Brazilian football, Pele, was chosen as the greatest footballer in the history of the World Cups.
The Argentine legend Diego Maradona is in second place in the ranking prepared by 14 journalists.
The top three is completed by the captain of the Argentina national team, Lionel Messi.
Franz Beckenbauer and Ronaldo Nazario were also included in the top five of the greatest footballers.
Zinedine Zidane, Garrincha, Kilian Mbappe, Gerd Müller and Miroslav Klose are also in the top ten.
