"Arsenal" midfielder Martin Subimendi made interesting statements on the eve of the UEFA Champions League final. Sport24.az reports that the 27-year-old football player, in an interview with "Marca", spoke about his position in the team, staying on the bench, and the upcoming decisive match.
Subimendi stated that he is not worried about being out of the starting lineup in recent matches. The Spanish player noted that he is satisfied with his overall performance in the Premier League and emphasized that he is ready to appear on the field at any moment.
Touching on the final match against PSG, the midfielder noted that the team's main weapon is confidence and composure. According to him, it is not right to look for a favorite in such high-status games.
Subimendi also highly appreciated the work of head coach Mikel Arteta. He noted that the specialist has been among the best for a long time and that the stability in the team's defense is precisely due to this.
The experienced player added that despite the end of the season, he is fully physically ready and does not feel tired.
