Benfica's head coach Jose Mourinho will continue his career at Real. Sport24.az, citing the Spanish press, reports that the 63-year-old specialist has signed a contract with the Royal Club until the summer of 2029.
Mourinho's appointment will be officially announced on June 7, after the presidential elections at Real.
Benfica, led by Mourinho, finished the current season in third place in the Portuguese league. The Eagles missed out on Champions League qualification.
It should be noted that Real finished the 2025/26 season without trophies. Los Blancos lost to Bayern Munich 2-3 in the Champions League quarter-finals and lost to Albacete (2-3) in the 1/8 finals of the Copa del Rey.
