Spartak Moscow footballer Pablo Solari damaged the Russian Cup trophy while lifting it.
İdman.Biz reports that the incident occurred during the award ceremony after the super final against Krasnodar. As Solari raised the crystal cup over his head, first the lid of the trophy came off, and then the bottom part broke off.
It should be noted that Spartak defeated Krasnodar in the super final in a penalty shootout. The regular time ended in a 1:1 draw, and the Moscow club won 4:3 in the penalty shootout.
It should be noted that this was Spartak's fifth title in the history of the Russian Cup. The Moscow team previously won the cup in the 2021/2022 season.
