Sevda Nuriyeva, an Azerbaijani international assistant referee, has received an appointment from UEFA.
"Report" reports with reference to the AFFA press service that she will perform the function of assistant referee in two matches of Group 1 in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League.
S.Nuriyeva will first assist Maltese referee Joana Vasallo in the semi-final match between "Flora" (Estonia) and "Riga" (Latvia) on July 30.
The decisive matches of the group will take place on August 2.
The referee will be part of the team led by Slovenian referee Tjaša Misja in the match for 3rd place, which will be organized between the losing teams of the semi-final stage.
Note that all matches of Group 1 will be held at the "Achilles Hammerel" stadium in Luxembourg.
