Liverpool's forward Mohamed Salah has sent a message to his teammates as he bids farewell to the club.
Idman.Biz reports that the Egyptian footballer has emphasized that success is not only about talent. He stated that players should always work hard and put all their strength on the field.
"My message to the players is this: it's not about talent, it's about working hard and always giving your all," Salah said.
The 33-year-old striker also admitted that leaving Liverpool was very difficult for him:
"I cried a lot. Maybe more than I've cried in my whole life. It's very difficult to leave a place like this. I'm not a very emotional person, but this is a very difficult issue. We managed to do it and bring the club back to where it belongs."
It should be noted that in his farewell match against Brentford, Salah made a productive pass and became the player with the most assists in Liverpool's Premier League history.
