Cristiano Ronaldo's son, Cristiano, the Portuguese striker for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, is considering a move to a European club and may not play with his father.
According to Idman.Biz, citing The Sun, the 15-year-old footballer, who plays for Al-Nassr's youth team, is preparing to leave the club before playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
The young player has attracted interest from clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG. In March, he trained with the Spanish club's under-16 team while his father recovered from an injury.
Despite Ronaldo's son's desire, his family is against him moving to Europe and is trying to persuade him to stay in Saudi Arabia. They believe that increased attention and comparisons with his father could negatively affect his career. Cristiano Ronaldo has also expressed his desire to play alongside his son and has repeatedly stated his wish. This was expected to happen next season, when the young player would be eligible for a professional transfer.
Before joining Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. progressed through the youth systems of Juventus and Manchester United, where his father also played. He has also played for Portugal's under-15 and under-17 national teams.
