Roma have announced the transfer of Greek central defender Konstantinos Koulierakis from German club Wolfsburg.
Sport.Biz reports this citing the club's press service. The 22-year-old footballer will wear the number 33 jersey in Serie A.
According to media reports, the transfer fee was 15 million euros. Koulierakis was previously linked to "Juventus", "Benfica", "Crystal Palace", "Coventry" and "Hull City".
Roma had previously signed a contract with striker Santiago Castro from Bologna. Wolfsburg were relegated to a lower league in the German Bundesliga after losing to Paderborn (2:1) in the playoffs last season.
