Former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand has supported Real Madrid's Turkish player Arda Güler.
GOL.az reports that he shared about this on his social media accounts.
Ferdinand appealed to the officials of the Madrid club regarding Ard Güler, who does not get enough playing time in the team:
"Arda Güler... Real has a problem. Toni Kroos has ended his career. Luka Modrić will not get younger. Real needs a controller, a manipulator, a player who will create rhythm. The team has excellent players in its squad. But they are deprived of these important components. Arda is young and can develop a lot physically. But, like some players, he does not need special development (Modrić, Kroos, Iniesta, Scholes, and others). If Arda Güler is given time and the right structure is built around him, he can provide the rhythm and control that the team needs."
It should be noted that Arda moved to Real Madrid from Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2023. He participated in 37 matches this season, scored 4 goals and provided 8 assists. The 19-year-old midfielder appeared as a substitute in most of these matches.
