"Real Madrid" has announced the date of the presidential elections on its official website.
Idman.Biz reports that the elections will be held on June 7 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM local time at the "Real Madrid" basketball pavilion.
Two candidates will participate: the current president Florentino Perez and the Spanish businessman Enrique Riquelme.
For the first time since 2006, at least two candidates will compete for the highest office.
It was previously reported that Riquelme had opened a bank account equal to 15% of Real Madrid's budget, approximately 187-193 million euros. Club members over the age of 18 are eligible to vote.
