Madrid city authorities have closed the Campo de Vallecas stadium where Rayo Vallecano plays its home games. Sport24.az reports that AS has released information about it.
During the inspection at the arena, deficiencies were found in the fire protection systems, electrical wiring and lighting. It is expected that the repair work will take from two to six months.
Note that the new season in La Liga starts on August 15. Rayo Vallecano will play its first home game on the 20th. After the city council's decision, the team was forced to host its rivals at another stadium.
