Former Manchester City and Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Illegal substances were reportedly found in the four-time Premier League winner's car.
Idman.Biz reports, citing The Sun, that the player refused to undergo a medical examination.
According to the source, the arrest occurred after Sterling was involved in an accident with his Lamborghini. No other vehicles were involved and there were no injuries. It is emphasized that the Feyenoord forward was released on bail pending investigation.
Sources close to Sterling note that the player is experiencing "difficulties".
Chelsea parted ways with the player in January 2026. In February, Sterling signed a contract with Feyenoord. He has played eight games in the Eredivisie and provided one assist.
