İdman.biz reports that this was stated to AZERTAC by Qarabağ's Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Kochanowski, while talking about the 3:0 victory against Araz-Nakhchivan in the second leg of the semi-final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup.
He stated that the Nakhchivan club is a good team: "The opponent fought until the end on the field. But I am happy that we won 3:0. Yes, there were two different halves. But we fought well. It is very important for us to win every match. This gives the team a high morale."
The 24-year-old goalkeeper said that they are having a good season: "We are heading towards the championship in the league, we qualified for the final of the Azerbaijan Cup. We are moving step by step towards the goals we set at the beginning of the season. We are seriously preparing for the European Cups and want to play better than this year."
Kochanowski emphasized that he is happy at the Aghdam club: "I have another two-year contract with the team. Right now, I am focusing all my thoughts on the successes I want to achieve here."
It should be noted that Qarabağ defeated the Nakhchivan representative with a score of 3:1 based on the results of two matches and qualified for the final.
