Friendlies between Porto and Aston Villa have ended.

Brazilian William Gomes scored the first goal of the match. Porto's striker scored in the 5th minute of the game. Aston Villa striker Luke Link scored the equalizing goal in the 12th minute. In the last minutes of the first half, in the 41st minute, striker Pepe gave the Portuguese club the lead. The teams did not score in the second half.
Last season, Aston Villa finished fourth in the English Premier League with 65 points. Unai Emery's team also won the Europa League. Porto were the Portuguese champions in the 2025/2026 season.
