Lazio forward Pedro Rodriguez has stated that he tried to invite Lionel Messi to Serie A.
Idman.Biz reports that the Spanish footballer confessed that he tried to bring his former teammates, with whom he played together at Barcelona, to Lazio.
"I tried to call Lionel Messi here, but it wasn't that easy, of course. I also tried to invite Jordi Alba and David de Gea. Even Marc Bartra was thinking about moving to Lazio at one time. They had spoken with Maurizio Sarri," said Pedro.
