Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner shared his thoughts after the UEFA Conference League final. Sport24.az reports that Glasner, speaking to TNT Sports after the match, said his team fully deserved this success:
"I congratulate my players and the whole team on this occasion. It was a game as we expected. Especially in the first 15 minutes after the break, we performed incredibly. We scored a goal and could have decided the fate of the match earlier. In the end, we defended very well. It was a great evening. I think this group of players, this club and these fans deserved to win the Conference League. I'm very happy about that."
The Austrian specialist, who will leave the team at the end of the season, also admitted that it is difficult to believe that this was his last game:
"I still can't believe this is my last game. But I made this decision myself. I think this is a beautiful chapter in the history of Crystal Palace and there will be new chapters ahead."
It should be noted that Oliver Glasner announced in January that he would leave the club at the end of the season.
