The latest status of Mahir Emreli, the striker of the Azerbaijan national team, has been determined.
QOL.az reports that the 27-year-old footballer injured his hand in the 31st round match (3:3) against Fortuna Düsseldorf in the 2nd Bundesliga and came to the last training sessions with a special splint.
Nuremberg's website has revealed Emreli's latest condition. It was noted that he will be able to appear in the 32nd round home game against Elversberg on May 4, and this injury does not create a problem for the striker.
Nuremberg head coach Miroslav Klose said about Mahir: "In football, you automatically enter into duels. I don't think it hinders him."
It should be noted that Emreli has been attracting attention with his successful game in recent rounds. The Azerbaijani footballer has scored 4 goals in the last 3 Bundesliga matches. Overall, Mahir has found the opponent's goal 7 times in 21 Bundesliga matches.
