Midfielder Niko Pas intends to continue his career at "Como" instead of moving to "Real Madrid".
According to Idman.Biz, citing insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the player wants to spend another season at the Italian club.
The management of the Serie A club is interested in keeping the player and is doing everything possible to make this happen. However, the final decision will be made by "Real Madrid", which has the option to buy back the Argentine national team player for 9 million euros in 2026, and for 10 million euros in 2027.
"Como" is aware that Jose Mourinho, who returned as coach of "Los Blancos", wants to immediately include Pas in the squad. However, the club hopes that the upcoming presidential elections will delay the transfer by a year. Niko has played 35 games in Serie A this season and scored 12 goals.
Pas began his career at "Real Madrid", transferring from the academy of "Tenerife" at the age of 12. Como acquired the midfielder in 2024 and retained the option to buy him back for 10 million euros. Currently, Transfermarkt values him at 65 million euros.
