Azerbaijani "Shamakhi" football team's forward Nihat Mehraliyev has left the club.
Idman.Biz reports that the footballer's contract, which expired at the end of the season, has not been renewed.
"Shamakhi" football club thanked Nihat Mehraliyev for his services and wished him success in his future career.
The 20-year-old footballer joined "Shamakhi" last September. The club announced at the time that a one-year contract had been signed with Mehraliyev.
Nihat Mehraliyev previously played for "Qarabag"'s reserve team. He was the top scorer of the Reserve League in the 2024/25 season with 20 goals.
It should be noted that this is the 13th player the club has released. "Shamakhi" had previously parted ways with Rufat Abbasov, Karim Rossi, Emil Suleymanov, Ramiz Muradov, Davud Mansumov, Abdulla Rzayev, Salim Hashimov, Rodrigo Fernandes, Andrei Tirkoveanu, Rafael Maharramli, Vladislav Veremeyev, and Arsen Aghabayov.
