"Nice" captain Dante has ended his career. Sport24.az reports that the Brazilian defender has retired from professional football at the age of 42.
He played his last match of his career yesterday in the Ligue 1 play-off match against Saint-Étienne.
The experienced center-back will now work as a coach. Dante will coach Bayern's U-23 team.
It should be noted that before Nice, Dante played for Capivariano, Juventude in his country, Lille in France, Charleroi, Standard in Belgium, and Borussia (Mönchengladbach), Bayern and Wolfsburg in Germany. The defender scored 2 goals in 13 official matches he played for the Brazilian national team.
