Brazilian club Santos has parted ways with its head coach Pedro Caixinha. Sport24.az reports that the A Series representative's website has released information about this.
Santos has failed to win any of its 3 matches at the start of the Brazilian championship. The team lost to Vasco da Gama (1:2) and Fluminense (0:1), and also drew with Bahia (2:2).
With only 1 point, Santos is in 18th place in the tournament table.
In addition to head coach Pedro Caixinha, the club has dismissed his two assistants, as well as the goalkeeping and fitness coaches.
Former Brazilian national team player Cesar Sampaio will temporarily act as head coach.
It should be noted that the famous striker Neymar also wears the Santos uniform.
