A new football player has been recruited to the squad of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 21 years old.
Idman.Biz reports that Mustafa Kamara, the midfielder of the Belgian football team "Sent-Truiden", has joined the U-21 national team camp. The 18-year-old left winger will participate in the training camp to be held in Baku from May 28 to 30, and in Isparta, Turkey from May 31 to June 10.
Mustafa Kamara played 19 games and scored two goals for "Sent-Truiden"'s U-18 team in the 2025/2026 season.
The Azerbaijan U-21 national team will hold two friendly matches as part of the preparations in Turkey. The team will face the corresponding age group teams of Bahrain on June 6 and Kyrgyzstan on June 9.
It should be noted that Mustafa Kamara is the son of Abdulkader Kamara, who wore the uniform of "Gabala" in 2007-2012. The football player was born in Azerbaijan on March 3, 2008.
