The German national team will support their fans at the 2026 World Cup.
Sport.Biz reports, citing "Sky Sport", that the team's players will cover the transportation costs of a group of fans heading to the group stage match against Ecuador.
This is due to the fact that fans are dissatisfied with the cost of travel to the stadium. The requirement to pay $105 (approximately 178.5 manat) for a trip from New York to the arena in New Jersey has sparked protests among fans.
After that, the captain of the German national team, Joshua Kimmich, suggested to his teammates that they organize free buses for the fans. With the initiative of the players, special buses will be allocated for 600 fans.
Free places will be determined by lottery among the official fan club members of the German national team.
Note that the Ecuador - Germany match will be held on June 25 at "MetLife Stadium".
