"Neftchi" became the champion and was awarded in the U-17 League

The winners of the 2025/2026 season in the AFFA U-17 League have been awarded. Sport24.az reports that the last round match took place before the event organized at the Neftchi Football Center.

In the last match of the 14th round of Group A, "Neftchi" and "Sabah" drew 0:0. Both teams finished the season with 30 points. "Neftchi", surpassing its opponent in overall indicators, finished the season as champion, "Sabah" finished second, and "Qarabagh" finished third.

After the matches, the award ceremony was held. "Qarabagh", which took 3rd place in the championship, was awarded bronze medals, and "Sabah", the owner of the 2nd place, was awarded silver medals. The champion "Neftchi" was presented with gold medals and a cup.

The winners in individual nominations have also been announced. Riad Garadagli, a "Qarabagh" player who scored 24 goals, became the owner of the award for the most productive player. According to a survey conducted among the teams participating in the league and the opinion of the head coach of the U-17 national team, Ali Bashirov, another member of "Qarabagh", was chosen as the best player of the season.

In addition, Adem Atazade ("Veten") in the U-10 League, Tunjay Shukurlu ("Khan") in the U-11 League, and Galib Agayev ("Agsu City") in the U-12 League were awarded the fair play award.

The awards were presented by Elchin Mammadov, Deputy Secretary General of AFFA, and Emin Jafarov, Head of the Department for Organizing Competitions.
