Sekou Tidiany Bangura and Diego Rossi scored the goals in the home team. Bangura distinguished himself in the 24th minute after a pass from Mohamed Farsi, and Rossi increased the gap in added time in the first half.
Nariman Akhundzade started the match on the bench and was not given a chance to play despite the five substitutions made by the head coach.
