Sport.Biz reports that the Spanish club's winger suffered a ligament injury in his right knee in a friendly match against Norway (1:1).
The nature of Nayef Ager's injury has not been disclosed. They have been replaced by striker Mohamed Amine Sbai and defender Marwan Sadane in the team.
In the 2026 World Cup, Morocco will play in Group C against Brazil, Haiti, and Scotland.
