Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has set a club record in the Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Egyptian footballer made his 93rd assist for Liverpool in the final round of the season. With this, he surpassed Steven Gerrard to become the player with the most assists in the club's Premier League history.
Salah reached Gerrard's record of 92 assists on February 11 by assisting Virgil van Dijk's goal in the game against Sunderland.
According to Opta Analyst statistics, Salah has now moved up to sixth place on the list of players with the most assists for one club in Premier League history, tying with Dennis Bergkamp. His total number of Premier League assists has reached 94. The list is headed by Ryan Giggs with 162 assists. The subsequent ranking is as follows:
