Minifootball tournament winner determined

The mini-football tournament dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth, organized jointly by AFFA and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) within the framework of UEFA's "Hat-Trick" program among the faculties of AzTU, has come to an end.

Idman.biz reports that in the match for the 3rd place held at the "Sportster" mini-football grounds, the team of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications defeated the team of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics with a score of 5:4 and won the bronze medal.

In the final match, the team of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies defeated the team of the Faculty of Economics and Management with a score of 5:1 and became the winner of the tournament.

In the competition, the winning team was awarded a cup by AFFA, and the first 3 places were awarded with appropriate medals. In the tournament, Seymur Hajiyev, a player of the Economics and Management team, was awarded the "Best Player" award, and Farid Mikayilov, a player of the Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies team, was awarded the "Best Goalkeeper" nomination.

The winning team was jointly presented with the cup by Farrukh Ismayilov, the head of the Mass Football Department of AFFA, and Rashad Aliyev, the vice-rector for financial and economic affairs of AzTU.
