The "Mingachevir" football team significantly outperformed its rivals in terms of fan attendance in the First League in the 2025/26 season.
Idman.Biz reports that a total of 25,710 spectators watched the First League games during the season. Including the canceled "Zagatala" - MOIK match, the average attendance at the 135 matches was 190.
The most attended match of the season was the last - the 27th round's "Mingachevir" - "Sabail" game. The match held on May 22 at the Y.Mammadzade Mingachevir City Stadium was watched by 2,750 spectators.
During the season, the attendance reached 1000 more four times. Interestingly, "Mingachevir" hosted all of these games.
The team collected 11,520 spectators in 14 home games, significantly outperforming its rivals in this indicator. Approximately 45 percent of the total attendance in the First League falls to "Mingachevir".
"Zagatala" is in second place in terms of average attendance. "Shafa", which qualified for the Premier League, was third in this indicator.
