Former UEFA President Michel Platini has filed a criminal complaint against FIFA President Gianni Infantino, five Swiss football officials, and a prosecutor through his lawyers in Paris. According to Sport24.az, AP has released information about this.
According to the 70-year-old Platini's claim, he was not allowed to become the president of FIFA ten years ago due to defamation against him.
Platini's representative stated that the lawyers will also file a civil lawsuit against FIFA regarding the allegations raised against the Swiss authorities in 2022.
Note that the former head of UEFA has also filed a complaint against former Swiss Attorney General Michael Lauber and former FIFA legal director Marco Villiger.
