The president of the Spanish football club Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, has made a statement regarding the future of the team's Brazilian footballer, Vinicius Junior.
Idman.Biz reports that the club leader stated in an interview with "El País" that he wants the 25-year-old player to stay at Real Madrid. Perez especially emphasized Vinicius's importance to the team.
He answered the question about extending the Brazilian footballer's contract as follows:
"There is time. I would like him to stay here for life. He won us the last two Champions Leagues and he fits in very well with the club."
Perez also noted that Vinicius is of great value to Real Madrid. The club president stated that he would be happy for the player to stay in the team and does not consider the financial demands allegations circulating about him to be true.
The head of Real Madrid also commented on the opinions that Vinicius Junior and Kilian Mbappe cannot play together. He called this claim unfounded and said he sees both footballers among the best in the world.
