Tottenham defender Marcos Senesi has been called up to the Argentina national team for the 2026 World Cup.

The 29-year-old footballer will replace injured Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi in the squad.
Senesi has played in three friendly matches for Argentina.
Last season, the defender played for Bournemouth, appearing in 39 games across all competitions and making five assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 25 million euros.
