Lithuanian national team's goalkeeper Tomas Svedkauskas commented on the 1-0 defeat to Azerbaijan in the third round of the Nations League D2 group in Baku. Sport24.az reports that the Lithuanian goalkeeper said that our national team did not play weakly:
"After the Azerbaijani national team scored, they retreated to defense, which made it difficult to get close to the opponent's goal. Building attacks was hard. We made many passes, but we couldn't reach the goal. There was a lack of imagination and speed. It is disappointing, but at the end of the match we paid more attention to the referee than to our own actions. We made a mistake and should have focused on the game."
