French club "Lille" has officially announced the resignation of head coach Bruno Genesio.
According to Idman.Biz, the club and the 59-year-old manager decided not to renew their contract after two years.
In an official statement, "Lille" thanked the coach for his work.
The decision to part ways comes after a successful season for the team.
"Lille" finished third in the French league and qualified for the Champions League.
Under Genesio's leadership, the team played 99 matches, recording 50 wins, 19 draws, and 30 losses.
