Former PSG goalkeeper Mickael Landreau has shared his thoughts on the performance of Matvey Safonov, the current main goalkeeper of the Russian Paris club.
Idman.Biz reports that the former goalkeeper stated that Safonov generally demonstrates a reliable and consistent game.
"In my opinion, he is an effective and stable goalkeeper. He confidently copes with his role. For example, in penalty shootouts, Safonov makes excellent saves. His psychological resilience is very high. But there is still something he needs to work on - and that is his game in the air," Landreau said.
It should be noted that Safonov appeared in several matches for PSG last season and attracted attention with his reliable performance.
