Kristian Avram, the goalkeeper of "Araz-Nakhchivan," gave an interview to Sport24.az.
- You defeated "Neftchi" with a score of 2:1 in the XX round of the Azerbaijan Premier League. What are your impressions of the game?
- We won this match, we got three points. This is a joyful event for us.
- How did you win?
- We achieved this thanks to team spirit. We have a very experienced coaching staff. They prepared us well for the game, they give us the necessary information about the opponent. The coaches are constantly supporting the players. We are moving forward thanks to the team. We will try to win more often.
- The last 10 minutes were tense for your team. Why did you withdraw so much?
- Concentration was there until the end. If the referee hasn't whistled, the game is not over. If you are winning, you try to keep the score. This also shows intelligence. The losing opponent makes forward passes and crosses in the last minutes. We, in turn, tried not to panic. We stood until the end and won. I congratulate our team. We won an important three points.
- What happened between you and the opposing team's fans after the match?
- Nothing. We applauded each other, thanked each other.
- But they seemed dissatisfied with this...
- This is also their right. Their team lost. In principle, they supported their club. I also thanked them.
- But they didn't like you thanking them...
- This is their opinion. Everyone has their own opinion. The main thing is to remain human. There is nothing else here. Everything is normal.
- "Araz-Nakhchivan" has gained 7 points in meetings with "Neftchi". What can you say about this?
- What can I say? "Araz-Nakhchivan" always goes to the field to win. It doesn't matter which team we play against. We have a good team, a big family. What is important is that when we lose, we get out of this situation together. We are doing this. The important thing is to keep your head up.
- Is your goal to qualify for the European Cups?
- Our goal is to go to every game and win. We will see what happens at the end of the season.
