Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate could leave the English club as a free agent.
According to Idman.Biz, citing insider Ben Jacobs, although the player announced in April that a deal was about to be concluded, Liverpool and Konate have yet to reach an agreement.
Konate has been playing for Liverpool since the summer of 2021. He joined the English club from the German team RB Leipzig. According to media reports, the transfer fee was 40 million euros.
In the 2025/2026 season, the defender played 51 games in all competitions for the Merseyside club. He scored two goals - one goal in the English Premier League and one in the UEFA Champions League.
