Qatari club Qatar SC defender and former PSG player Presnel Kimpembe will perform a special mission in the Champions League final.
Idman.Biz reports that the French center-back has been chosen as PSG's official ambassador for the final.
The 30-year-old football player will have the honor of bringing the Champions League trophy to the field before the game starts. This decision was made personally by PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club's sports management.
Kimpembe, as a graduate of the PSG academy, played in the main team for 11 years. He moved to Qatar's Qatar SC football club last summer.
The French defender has achieved great success at the Paris club. He also lifted the Champions League trophy last year after a victory over Italian football team Inter.
At the same time, the management of English football club Arsenal wants to see club legend Thierry Henry as an ambassador for the final. However, his broadcasting obligations may prevent this decision from being realized.
