English football club Wolverhampton has reached an agreement to sign Kieran Trippier from Newcastle.
İdman.Biz reports that the 35-year-old right-back has agreed to a two-year contract with his new club. The agreement also includes an option to extend the term for another year.
The player is expected to undergo a medical examination to finalize the transfer. Trippier will undergo the examination after returning from family vacation and will then join Wolverhampton.
It should be noted that Kieran Trippier joined Newcastle in January 2022 from Spanish football club Atletico Madrid. He has played 160 games in all competitions for the "Magpies" and won the League Cup.
