Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of French PSG football team has been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Season 2025/26.
Idman.Biz reports that the UEFA press service has released information about this. UEFA's statement emphasized his major role in PSG's consecutive second Champions League title.
The 25-year-old footballer has played 16 matches in the tournament, scored 10 goals and made six assists.
Kvaratskhelia also helped his team in the final. In the crucial match against Arsenal, the penalty he earned was accurately converted by Usman Dembele, and PSG equalized. The Paris representative eventually won the title by winning the penalty shootout.
The member of the Georgian national team has been playing for PSG since 2025. He has won the Champions League twice with the Paris club. Kvaratskhelia also took the left flank in the UEFA team of the season.
